Get involved in the 2020 European ZooHackathon online!
Hello there,
Between November 6th and 8th, 2020, Techlovers have the great opportunity to show their skills in a competition gathering students and professionals from all over Europe: the ZOOHACKATHON 2020.
The European ZooHackathon 2020: It is obviously an Hackathon, but it is above all a big annual appointment where experts use their talents for fighting against wildlife trafficking and illegal poaching! Indeed, the participants have 48 hours to pitch a product tackling those issues in front of a jury who will pick a winning team. Engineers, developers, DevOps, testers, beginners, seniors, and all wildlife aficionados are welcomed to participate.
A Worldwide competition: Mandated by the US government, 6 competitions are organised by partner entities in each continent at the same time: the 7th and 8th November 2020. One week later, the winning teams will virtually present their product to an American jury who will decide on the global winners!
Great prices will be delivered to the 5 members of the 3 best teams, and you can refer to our regulations document to get to know more about it! Those rewards are meant to help them to develop their project and skills and to increase their awareness of the animal cause.
Your students’ participation: The ZooHackathon 2020 is a chance to challenge their skills in an European, even a global, stage, while devoting their brainpower for doing good! Indeed, with the ZooHackathon, they are in touch with a community of experts combining energies and initiatives for protecting fauna and promoting Eco-citizenship! They will be supported by skillful mentors in tech, ethics, communication, animal laws… A great opportunity to be spotted by main stakeholders to develop their career.
