Wine Down #9 …network with the impact community! The very first summer edition of our fabulous WineDown evenings is going to take place at the Hermann Strandbar – chill in the deck chairs, enjoy a cocktail on the beach and connect with fellow Hubbers under the sun!

This month´s edition of WineDown will be under the theme: Impact Investment

–> Impact Investing? Impact Investors are redefining value creation by utilizing capital in ways that maximize environmental, social, and financial benefit. The idea of impact investing is increasingly appealing for both social ventures and investors in Central and Eastern Europe.
Therefore a radical change in capitalism is emerging with a growing pool of investors that invest their money in eco-socially impacting companies rather than in larger very profitable ones, giving priority to the Impact generated by florishing startups.
Over the past 7 years, the Impact Hub Vienna, together with its partners in the region, has contributed to building and strengthening this ever-growing community, along with the CEE impact ecosystem through capacity building initiatives such as the Investment Ready Program, Social Impact Award and other tailor-made incubation activities.
The date of this month’s Wine Down coincides with the CEE Impact Day 2017 (hosted by the Impact Hub) which brings together Impact Investment players to inspire, connect and enrich the impact ecosystem within Central & Eastern Europe.

– What: Reconnecting and networking with your fellow impact makers + unwinding and enjoying a glass of your favourite (non)alcoholic drink, while laying down on a long chair, feet in the sand!
– When: Thursday, the 22nd of June; 6.30 pm
Can’t make it at 6.30 pm? Remember, it’s an informal get-together, so just drop by whenever you can make it – we’ll probably be around for a while.
