How to create value for your customers?
The Value Proposition Canvas helps you to design products and services your customers really want.
The value proposition helps you design, test, and build your company’s value proposition to customers in a more structured and thoughtful way. It looks at the Value proposition and the customer segment, so you can describe them in more detail and analyze the “fit” between them. Companies need to get both right, the “fit” and the business model, if they don’t want to go out of business.
The Value Proposition Canvas will allow you to better describe the hypotheses underlying value propositions and customers, it will prepare you for customer interviews, and it will guide you in the testing and pivoting.
Who will benefit?
Entrepreneurs with an already existing and scalable business model and who are interested in growing, developing and to internationalize the business. Participants should be familiar with the concept of business models (e.g. business model canvas by Alexander Osterwalder, IDEO).
Trainer: Tobias Göllner & Stephan Kardos
Tobias Göllner is co-founder and CEO at ShiftYard. After graduating from the University of Economics and Business in Vienna, Tobias worked as a Strategy Consultant at TPA Horwath. Following that he established the new innovation consulting branch “Discover” at the start-up network Pioneers, working for well-known Austrian and international start-ups and corporations.
Tobias has been invited as a guest lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Vienna (WKO) and WU Vienna.
Stephan Kardos is co-founder of ShiftYard and founder of the „Creativity Gym Vienna“.
After graduating from the University of Economics and Business in Vienna, he worked as HR employee at the Austrian Integration Fund where he took over HR team lead eventually. Subsequently, he gained experience in the field consultancy as a project manager. His last employment was at Siemens AG Austria, where he worked as HR Consultant for Leadership & Development.
