UX/Design Meetup

Event Details

Hi folks,

Are you ready for the last UxWien Sektor5 Meetup of the year? Are you going to the 10 year anniversary of the UxWien Metalab Meetup?

Here’s our current agenda:

Fatal Attraction by Bart Bloeman
In our love story with tech, wearables are a mistress

Through outstanding design, we’ve embraced technology at a staggering pace. At the same time, our state of privacy is staggering as well. Could wearables be the tipping point? Design as part of the problem and part of the solution!

Designing Tiny Powerful UIs by Dominik Guzei
How to make useful widgets when you have very little space

Dominik is developing a Photoshop plugin and the surface area of his plugin is a small square. He will talk about his experience building the interface and will ask for our help in the UI of a newer feature he is developing.

Squerb – The better way to express your opinion Lighting Talk by Aneta

Your Favorite User Experiences
Think about your favorite apps, sites or just walking around user experiences you have had. I would love some good input on this one.

We would love more talks. What project(s) are you working on? What kinds of design tradeoffs have you recently had to make? What are some classic design tools/tricks that you always fall back on?

Just keep it under 15 minutes – which is actually harder than it sounds – or give a shorter lightning talk if you just want to show off something you are working on.

See you soon!
