Stop building weird UIs! Use a design system

By IBM

Event Details

From developers, for developers.

Let’s talk about design systems and why they enable the next level of UI development. By adopting a design system, you and your team can accelerate the process of designing and developing user interfaces while ensuring consistency across your product and platform.

The session will cover a 45 min talk and 15 min of questions and answers. Next to understanding the benefits and characteristics of design systems in general, we’ll take a closer look at IBM’s open source Carbon Design System, how to use it, and how to get involved in its future development.

At the end of the session, you’ll know how to get started with design systems and say goodbye to the days of endless discussions around button colours, shapes and sizes.
