Startup Grind Vienna hosts Georg Kopetz (TTTech)

Join us @ Sektor 5: Georg Kopetz will be there, having grown TTTech from 0 to over 500 employees.

Georg is co-founder and member of the executive board at TTTech. He is responsible for the overall strategy of the corporation, marketing, sales, finance, human resources, the business units aerospace and industrial solutions as well as for the off-highway joint-venture company TTControl.

Georg studied law at the University of Vienna and has comprehensive professional experience in the financial and legal field, having worked as a finance and law consultant in Austria and abroad.

TTTech is the world leader in robust networks in cars, air planes, trains, and so forth. Serving a fast growing market TTTech, a spin-off of the vienna university of technology, grew from humble beginnings in 1998 to over 500 employees in a pure high-tech field.
Georg Kopetz has quite an interesting story with his financial and law background he co-founded the company on research done by his father at the vienna university of technology. The founding team consisted of his father, the technologist Stefan Poledna and himself. They grew it with a lot of help of friends & family and now have major stakeholders like Audi, infineon and general electric.

He will share the story of developing a buisiness over 20 years to one of the most important players in the field.
