Event Details
START Hack is part of STARTglobal, the organization behind the START Summit, Europe‘s leading talent conference for technology and entrepreneurship. The hackathon, taking place from 11th to 13th of March 2016 on the weekend before the START Summit, is a 35-hour coding and prototyping marathon and aims to foster real technological progress by inviting the most talented tech students from the best universities in the world to create highly innovative products in the focus areas Financial Technology (FinTech), Internet of Things (IoT) and Mobility. The best teams will be evaluated by a jury, awarded with great prizes and invited to our big conference, where they will showcase their products in front of 1500 participants and learn the intricacies of entrepreneurship.
The participants can choose to tackle a range of cases by our partner companies and startups. The cloud technology, frameworks and other services are provided by technology partners. In addition to that, content partners, which are either established companies or startups, are providing APIs (for access to data) or a current challenge that needs the ideas and the knowledge of innovative minds.
