With this event, the Startup community will get the exciting opportunity to network and meet with the Space Industry. It is part of the FFG event series “Innovationswerkstätte”.

From Space Policy to “Astropreneurship” Dina Baranes, Liaison Officer SpacePharma SpacePharma strives for becoming a world leader in providing simplified and valuable, end-to-end microgravity services and solutions for research. SpacePharma provides researchers access to the unique environment of microgravity, using cutting-edge remote controlled labs.

18:30-19:00 EODC :: Collaboration in Earth Observation Christian Briese, Managing Director EODC EODC is a public-private partnership providing high performance computing, access to EO data, provision of operational services for the production of EO derived products and development of bespoke EO software and services. The mission of the EODC is to work together with its shareholders and multi-national partners from science, the public and private sectors in order to foster the use of earth observation (EO) data.

19:45-20:15 The story of TU Space Team Dominik Kohl & Manuel Schleiffelder, TU Space Team It all began with a small group of students that joined a competition to launch experimental rockets in France. By now the team has grown to a self administrated organization with 60 members and this autumn they strive to set a new altitude record for European university built rockets. Also they have built a satellite that is actually sending data from orbit, are developing rocket engines, launch suborbital probes and built a prototype for a lunar landing vehicle.
