A war in Europe, a global pandemic and the consequences of these crises have challenged and changed democracies across Europe. While nation states are preoccupied with the current challenges, Europe has the ambition, ambition and courage to bring about lasting change and shape a more sustainable future in the midst of uncertainty.
The Salzburg Summit 2023 therefore focuses on the economic and technological transformation that is crucial to unlocking Europe’s potential.
Under the patronage of EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn, the Federation of Austrian Industries (IV) is organising the business summit for thinkers and implementers from politics, science, business and culture. The aim is to bring together the brightest minds to discuss and address trends and developments at European and global level.
