The Founder & Investor Talks organized by the Innovation Incubation Center (i²c) at TU Wien enable the audience to learn first-hand from experienced founders and investors. They share their international experiences, do’s and dont’s and lessons learned during inspiring talks and answer questions in interactive Q&A-sessions. The talks are concluding with the possibility for networking with like-minded people.
“From Silicon Valley to Werksalon Co-Making Space”
The Founder & Investor Talks Series 2017 starts with a talk by Antoinette Rhomberg, Founder & CEO of Werksalon Co-Making Space for Craft, Design and Art. Antoinette tells her story about starting her career at a Venture Capital Fund in Austria, reaching out to Silicon Valley and establishing Werksalon Co-Making Space in Vienna, which offers a studio and further education in craft, design and innovation. She will talk about her passion for innovative business models, co-creation and co-making as well as open design. Antoinette will answer the questions what it takes for successful fund raising and why early criticism and rapid error analysis for entrepreneurs are important, not only in the Silicon Valley.

Antoinette Rhomberg is a passionate entrepreneur. She is co-founder and CEO of Werksalon, the first and finest Co-Making space for Craft, Art, Design in Vienna. Antoinette is business lecturer at New Design University St. Pölten and other Universities in Austria and runs an innovation and entrepreneurship consulting business since 2011. In 2013 Antoinette successfully raised funds for one of her clients in Silicon Valley. She is well known for solution-oriented and uncomplicated, economic consulting, motivating workshops and innovative talks. Antoinette studied business administration at the University of Economics Vienna and at the University of Maastricht.
