At this 2 day idea lab participants come together to develop solutions for gigabit & 5G applications
Join us on November 21st and 22nd at the GigaLab, the main event of the Gigabit Academy ’23! Register until 12.11.2023!
The GigaLab is designed as an idea lab that brings people together to form teams that develop solutions for digital challenges. The focus is on challenges that may be solved with applications based on a gigabit-capable infrastructure and connectivity. Participants of the GigaLab will therefore explore different ways of developing ideas inspired by our motto: “Driving digital innovation through gigabit connectivity”
Join a challenge and participate as a GigaLab Explorer!
- Choose one of the presented digital challenges from our GigaLab Challenge Hosts and join their team
- Participate on both days of the GigaLab to work on your favorite challenge & help your Challenge Host to create ideas and solutions
- Pitch your idea together with your team at the parallel “Future Forward” event on November 22 and win the GigaLab Award!
- Join the Info & Onbording Event on October 18 to get all information of every challenge in detail

Important Dates:
- Oct.18 Join the online info & onboarding event and get all information about every GigaLab Challenge in detail
- Oct.12-Nov.14 Choose and join the challenge you want to work on and become a GigaLab Explorer
- Nov.21 First day of the GigaLab – start working on your ideas
- Nov.22 Second day of the GigaLab – finish your ideas and prepare a pitch. Pitches of the GigaLab Teams in the afternoon at the parallel event “future forward”
- Dec.14 Participate in the (optional) online prototyping workshop to work further on your idea
