The Tech in FinTech
When was the last time you didn’t have a device in front of you, be it your cell phone, the dear laptop, iPad, or even your Kindle to read a book. We are controlled by Tech and constant updates it appears and a world without seems unfeasible for many. This notion is reflected in many FinTechs: Some traditional Banks have often neglected this idea of updates, and FinTechs have overtaken many in terms of technological progress, created eg. more agile back-end systems and found other ways not to make integration projects last far beyond their timeline.
Recent discussions have polarized whether its the Fin or the actual Tech that makes FinTech what it is. Can Fin exist without the Tech, and vice versa? What kind of Tech does FinTechs use as part of their USP?
