Event Details

In cooperation with the Austrian Angel Investors Association (AAIA), Austria Wirtschaftsservice (aws), New Venture Scouting (NVS), Advantage Austria, Talent Garden and Trending Topics, the Austrian trade association invites you to the second edition of the “European Retail Startup Night” in Vienna. The evening event focuses on innovative Austrian and European startups with a retail focus. Food, near-food or non-food, everything is allowed. The goal? The promotion of future-oriented innovations and technologies in the retail sector, connecting innovative retail startups with established retail companies and investors.

At a time when technologies and markets are changing faster than companies can follow, permanent engagement with the customer and the tech trends of the future are vital. With the European Retail Startup Night, the Austrian Retail Association and its partners offer a direct exchange, which is specifically limited to startups, retail corporates, technology providers and investors.

At the second European Retail Startup Night, Austrian as well as startups and omnichannel best practices from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) will be presented and promising collaboration models with young companies for retailers will be discussed. In the run-up to the event, a top-class jury will select 10 startups that are allowed to pitch live on stage on April 14th. Trending Topics publisher Bastian Kellhofer will moderate the startup night.
