The CEE Impact Day is a unique gathering to explore the opportunities of

Impact Investment in Central and Eastern Europe.

Impact Investment offers the opportunity to deploy capital not only to generate financial returns, but to also emphasize direct, measurable, social and environmental returns.

Social Enterprise and Impact Investment are gaining traction as new ways to conduct our economic activities, and redefine the way we see value creation – financial, social, and environmental. Globally, we face many challenges, but it is increasingly accepted that business, and the capital fuelling it, isone of the most powerful tools we have to address and overcome them.

What’s more, with an entrepreneurial frame of mind, such challenges become opportunities for value creation – a perspective that is at the core of the tremendous opportunity that Social Enterprise and Impact Investment represent. In Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), this opportunity is enormous, yet remains relatively untapped compared with other regions.

Thus, the Investment Ready Program, an accelerator program aimed at capacity building and catalyzing investment in the region, and Impact Hub Vienna organize the CEE Impact Day, in order to unlock Central and Eastern Europe’s impact potential.

Each year, the CEE Impact Day gathers global organizations, individual and institutional investors, and selected ventures to explore the growing investment opportunities in this region.

We expect 100+ established players and emerging actors in the social investment field to meet in

Vienna for this year’s CEE Impact Day.
