Start your expansion to Mainland China with the digital 2-week acceleration program in June 2021!

GO CHINA 2021 is a fully DIGITAL acceleration program for Austrian later-stage startups that aim to internationalize to Mainland China, especially to the the vibrant markets in Beijing and Shanghai. This acceleration program offers a flexible program tailored to fit your individual needs and supports you in your internationalization plans to Beijing and Shanghai.

GO CHINA 2021 is the ideal preparation for startups from ALL verticals to take the next steps of their China-expansion. GIN together with AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA provide you with digital workshops and seminars and connect you with international partners (corporates, potential clients, business partners, etc.). Benefit from customized networking opportunities as well as unique on-site activities* in Beijing and Shanghai.

The GO CHINA 2021 program is digital as well as physical to give you the best support in your expansion to the Chinese markets:

Part I | Digital GO CHINA (June 6-18, 2021)

Get first-hand insights from our Chinese experts and benefit from a digital program with webinars, individual coaching and virtual events (2-3 days a week) to work on your internationalization strategy. Over two week the selected startups will receive a tailor-made program schedule and get access to the GIN GO CHINA masterclasses.

Part II | Physical GO CHINA (Sept. – Dec., 2021 – dates are chosen by startup)

As soon as travel restrictions to China, especially to Beijing and Shanghai, are released, GIN offers the selected startups to meet potential stakeholders for follow-up meetings in Shanghai and/or Beijing with a GO ASIA Individual Ticket. The GO ASIA Individual Ticket includes a travel refund of 80% of all expenses (including travel and accommodation costs) up to EUR 7,000.- per startup.

REQUIREMENTS

The program GO ASIA 2021 is most suitable for startups meeting the following criteria:

• Open to all verticals
• Austrian mid- or later-stage startup (beyond PoC and seed stage)
• Established in the last 7 years
• Raised at least seed-stage investment
• Unique product/solution
• Working prototype/MVP
• A proven business model with traction (clients, revenue)
• Interest in connecting to relevant stakeholders (corporates, business partners)
• Looking to develop further internationally with a focus on China/Asia
