Motors are indispensable in our daily lives, and used in so a wide variety of places that some believe motors now account for approximately 55% of power generated around the world. This is why the research and development of motors is now a truly significant theme for both securing affluence in our lives and permanent conservation of the global environment. Accordingly, to further expedite motor-related technological researches and developments, we will start accepting applications for the 3rd Nagamori Awards, as described below:
Application period
November 1, 2016 – January 31, 2017
Applications must be postmarked on, or before, January 31, 2017
Areas covered
Technological fields related to electric motors, actuators, power generators (incl. electronic drives), and their control methods and applied technolgies, etc.
Requirements for application
Applicants must be R&D engieneering and technology professionals at a university, public organization, private company, etc. around the world with outstanding achievements.
Application condition
Documents must be submitted in either English or Japanese.
Documents to submit
They must be submitted in printed copies and electronic files.
