Current technological advancements in AI open up new ways to help people with disabilities. This talk will explore new ways in which software can understand images, sounds, and language and are being used to help people with disabilities such as deafness and autism.

This event is part of a joint campaign organized by AIDA (Artificial Intelligence 4 Development Agency) and Jamba – Career for All – Austria.

AIDA is a tech non-profit organization, founded in Vienna in 2019, and currently operates throughout Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. AIDA’s mission is to support local and global communities by engaging with AI topics, empowering them to discover how technology translates into their own lives. The Organization works to build resources and create the knowledge necessary to empower communities, in particular young people and women, to lead this important AI societal change, and prepare themselves for a brighter future.

JAMBA – Career for All supports people with disabilities to attain key competencies, soft, and professional skills in the IT and AI sector. As a follow-up step, our team helps them begin their professional development and find a job.
