There are many things to consider when founding your own business, but one of the first decisions to be made is the location where you will start out. The best place to start will depend on the market, your team, your product and various other factors, however, there are advantages as well as disadvantages which come with your choice of home base.
The upcoming Stammtisch will be all about location and internationalization, whether it is at the beginning of your journey or later on. There will be an expert panel discussing all the pros and cons of going international, giving insights on their experience and what they consider the best way to establish a successful business across borders. Additionally, the WKO will announce and award the winners of the Africa India Innovation Challenge, a project which supports Startups currently based in Austria on their way to set foot in the booming markets of Africa and Asia. This event is sponsored by the Außenwirtschaft Austria.
During the panel discussion, you will have the opportunity to ask questions via sli.do. Afterwards, you can join breakout rooms for “Ask Me Anything” sessions with the speakers or mingle at the virtual bar (aka your favourite seat at your house) for drinks & networking.
