The summer of 2015 is expected to be as hot as the topic of the 23rd AustrianStartups Stammtisch – this time held in the traditional atmosphere of Sektor5.
The subject-matter is Crowdfunding & Crowdinvesting – a financing method rapidly gaining more and more popularity among startups. In line with its increasing popularity, a new law regulating crowdfunding in Austria should be adopted at the beginning of this summer. The crowdfunding law is officially referred to as “law for alternative possibilities of funding”. The law’s purpose is to firstly boost young innovative entrepreneurs and secondly to support the further development of new ideas and strengthen Austria as a business location for start-ups.
To discuss the upcoming law regulations as well as current trends in the area we will have representatives of four crowdfunding and crowdinvesting platforms joining the discussion:
Wolfgang Deutschmann (www.greenrocket.com)
Daniel Horak (www.CONDA.eu)
Simone Mathys-Parnreiter (www.wemakeit.com)
Markus Ogris (BAWAG PSK – www.crowdfunding.at)
We are very excited about co-organising this Stammtisch with Initiative Neue Wirtschaft!
We look forward to your inputs and yet again to an insightful evening full of great conversations!
