The future of the Austrian startup ecosystem
Number 50 marks an anniversary for the AustrianStartups Stammtisch, so get ready for a very special version of the event:
Where do you see the Austrian startup ecosystem in the future? Which challenges are we facing and how can we overcome them in the best possible way? Which measures need to be taken and by whom?
To answer all of these questions, our team is currently working on a new Austrian Startup Agenda. As with our first Visionspapier from 2013, its aim is to help decision makers create an environment in Austria, in which startups can sustainably thrive. Together with several leading minds & experts from the community we have already come up with a number of recommendations in the following areas:
– Conditions for innovative entrepreneurship
– Education & research
– Private equity & venture capital
– Public grants
– International positioning
– Collaboration with public institutions
Now we need your input! At this Stammtisch, we will not have a panel on stage but put you in the center of the discussion. Or to say it in startup lingo, we have come up with a beta version and now need your feedback to make it ready for disruption.
Following a short introduction of our recommendations concerning the specific topic, we will hand over the microphone to you. So come to our Stammtisch and help us shape the future of the Austrian startup ecosystem!
