Distributed Teams – The door to international talent?
Certain roles in startups have become almost impossible to fill. Think for example of an experienced developer. If you even manage to find one here in Austria, you’ll often pay the top price because you are competing with local bigger players for the same person. But there is an alternative. By setting up a distributed team, you can get access to talent from all around the world, from the Caribic to Vietnam. This approach has proven to be very valuable for many companies, like for example Product Hunt and Netflix.
Join us for the #35 Austrianstartups Stammtisch this June to find more out about how distributed teams work. How do you find employees all over the world, how do you communicate efficiently over different time zones, what tools can you use and what are the advantages all this offers? Learn how to break the geographical boundaries and gain access to international talent and clients. Our three speakers of the months have personally and successfully set up distributed teams and companies, and will discuss their personal viewpoints on our panel:
– Andreas Klinger (Producthunt)
– Verena Mai (Learning Places)
– Allan Berger (blossom)
Following the Q&A session at the end of our panel, we invite all of you to stay for further networking in the startup-friendly atmosphere of Sektor5 and also participate in our “Startup Speed Dating”, where you have the chance to directly engage with panel speakers, founders and members of the AustrianStartups community.
