By funding young, innovative companies Business Angels create new jobs, foster innovation and strengthen national economies.
The Austrian Business Angel Day was established as major industry event in German speaking countries and brings together active and potential angel investors every year.
Compared to international standards, informal equity is a very young and still underdeveloped asset class in Austria. By hosting the Business Angel Day we want to raise awareness for the substantial impact private investors have on growth and innovation, hoping to attract even more angels.
The event facilitates exchange of experience among active investors, opens up international co-investment opportunities, brings in new deal flow and emphasizes business angels’ economic relevance to the broad public.
