Join 1001vienna – the storytelling hackathon for social impact from April 15-17 in Vienna!

What is a storytelling hackathon?
For 1001vienna we ask 8 social entrepreneurs to complete a story brief on the issues that prompted them to start their ventures like food waste, housing for refugees or climate change. In parallel we scout over 30 creatives from all over Europe to join us at Impact Hub Vienna to work with top- notch teammates to communicate and create a paradigm shift around the issues that matter. In the course of one weekend we innovate new ways of thinking and communicating these stories in films, articles, photography, animation, code and more.
It’s time to expand the boundaries of impact-focused persuasive storytelling!

1001vienna is free for all creatives. We invite 16 creatives from all over Europe and 16 creatives from Vienna to participate. Included are most lunches and dinners. We also cover the flight and accomodation for the international guests.

During 1001VIENNA we will host inspiring talks by thoughtful voices including a surprise opening act, musical performan- ces by local musicians and djs, unique perspectives on the city of Vienna and connect the participants with local media opportunities.
